Alexandra Marisa has felt very much at home in theater, television, and dubbing studios alike. Theater plays in which she acted as Kaethchen in 'Black Rider' by Tom Waits, as Juliet in Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet', or a double role as Shen Te – Shui Ta in Brecht's 'Good Person of Szechwan' led her to State theatres in Wiesbaden, Mainz and Kassel, or theatres in Aachen, Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Berlin. For two years, she starred as Lilly in rock star Peter Maffay's musical 'Tabaluga and Lilly', as original cast in Oberhausen.

Also, she acted in various TV productions and became well known as 'Yumiko' in 'Kommt Mausi raus?!'. In several german TV feature films ( "Rotlicht , in der Höhle des Löwen","Im Dickicht der Großstadt", "Doppelpack" and others, she starred as female lead. Her voice is known to millions: Giving her voice to Eva Green in James Bond 'Casino Royale', as well as Miranda Otto in the 'Lord of The Rings' trilogy, Charlize Theron in 'Devil's Advocat' or Kate Winslet in 'Heavenly Creatures' by Peter Jackson. Children's ears love her voice as Pocahontas in the famous Disney film and as Nala in 'The Lion King', as well as in the audio book series 'Bibi Blocksberg'.

Next to her passion working for children, she devoted herself to charity work: In 2008/09, she accompanied a voluntary team of doctors to the Mayan jungle, producing her own first documentary. Several music videos followed.

Since Alexandra Marisa always had a heartfelt predilection for chants of Saint Hildegard of Bingen, a german mystical medevial nun,she finally decided for taking the reins in producing her first own CD titled 'O Aeterne Deus'. In her second CD production, she again focuses on the spiritual realm of song, this time from India. In order to remember that personal talents are gifts in order to share with others, a part of its revenue is donated to a school project in India. This tradition is to be continued with the new CD: "The Land beyond my dreams", in 2015.
